Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected on helvetruck.ch is Tradi Location Sàrl, Rue de Malagny 12, 1196 Gland (VD), Switzerland, contact@helvetruck.ch, +41 79 847 00 29.

Processing complies with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where the data subject resides in the European Union, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data you send us

We collect the data you voluntarily provide by filling in one of the site's forms or by writing to us. Depending on the form, this covers:

• Contact form: last name, first name, town, customer type (company or private individual), e-mail, phone, vehicle type, nature of the project, desired timeframe and message.
• Pitch form: name, e-mail, phone, concept, town, planned vehicle budget, launch date and optional message.
• Financing form: name, e-mail, phone, planned vehicle budget, available down payment, project description, desired date and optional message.

Budget and down payment

The budget and down payment fields only serve to calibrate our answer and route your file to the right person. Through this site we ask for no bank documents, no identity papers and no sensitive personal data within the meaning of the revFADP.

Data collected automatically

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, an audience measurement tool that works without cookies and without advertising identifiers. It records, in aggregate form, the pages viewed, the referring page, the country, the device type and the browser.

A non-reversible visit identifier is derived from technical request data, including the IP address, without that data being stored as such. The identifier is renewed daily: it allows neither identifying you nor following you from one site to another.

This measurement only serves to understand the site's audience and improve it. No advertising profile is built and no data is resold. As on any website, the hosting provider also keeps technical connection logs for security and operational purposes.

Purposes and legal bases

Your data is used to answer your enquiry, prepare an offer, follow up on your project commercially and, where applicable, perform the resulting contract. Under the GDPR, the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request, then performance of the contract.

Audience measurement relies on our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is visited, without cookies and without data that would identify you.

Your data is neither sold, nor rented, nor passed on to third parties for marketing purposes.

Retention period

We keep your data only as long as the purpose requires:

• Enquiry with no commercial follow-up: 24 months from the last exchange, then deletion.
• Customer under contract: for the whole contractual relationship, then 10 years for accounting records, in accordance with article 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations.
• Audience statistics: aggregated data kept by Vercel for a limited period, at most twelve months.

Recipients and processors

Your data is processed by Tradi Location Sàrl and, for the technical needs of the site, by the following providers, which act solely on our behalf and on our instructions:

• Vercel Inc. (United States): site hosting and audience measurement.
• Resend (United States): delivery of the e-mails generated by the forms.
• Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland): hosting of our mailboxes and management of the domain name.

Transfers abroad

As some of these providers are established outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area, the corresponding transfers are governed by the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection Commissioner and by the European Commission.

If you choose to write to us through WhatsApp, your message and phone number are processed by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta group) under its own terms, over which we have no control. You can always reach us by e-mail or phone if you would rather avoid it.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies, no tracking cookies and no social network trackers. It uses no tool that requires your prior consent, which is why no cookie banner is shown to you.

Only strictly technical cookies may be used for the site to work properly, for instance to remember the language you selected.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only and form data travels encrypted. Access to the enquiries received is limited to the people at Tradi Location Sàrl who need it to handle your project.

Your rights

You have a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding your data and, in the cases provided by the GDPR, a right to restriction and portability. To exercise them, write to contact@helvetruck.ch: we answer within thirty days.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, or the supervisory authority of your country of residence in the European Union.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be adapted if the site or the legislation changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
